Leadership development is a cornerstone of the Towson University student experience. Towson University believes that leadership is not about being in charge; it is about your integrity, your self-awareness, and your vision for creating change well beyond the classroom.
TU has developed many leadership experiences designed to develop civically engaged and self-aware students who possess the skills necessary to create positive change not only in the Towson community, but in the greater global community as well. TU is an ideal setting for students to grow as individuals and leaders.
The Division of Student Affairs proudly presents the Initiatives for Leadership Education and Development (i L.E.A.D.). This certification provide students with opportunities to develop the skills necessary to be exemplary leaders in the community.
