Study Abroad Short-term Program Pre-departure Information for Students
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
If you are not a US citizen or do not hold a US passport please notify the Study Abroad Adviser responsible for your program as soon as possible as visa requirements may differ.
Before departure, non-US citizens are required to consult with the International Student Office at their home institution. You are responsible for making sure that your immigration documents are in order for your return to the US. The Towson University International Student and Scholar Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building next to the Study Abroad Office. Their phone number is 410-704-2421.
Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders): If you are a permanent resident of the US and plan to be away from the US for more than 12 consecutive months, please consult the USCIS at least one month prior to departure to ensure your permanent resident status.
