Giving Back To Study Abroad

Keeping Your Experience Alive

The majority of returnees from study abroad feel that it was among the most important experiences of their whole undergraduate career. If you feel that way about your study abroad experience, please consider giving back to Towson University to help support and promote study abroad to more Towson students.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Become an International Ambassador to welcome & orient incoming International Students arriving at Towson for the first time.

  • Write an article for the TU Study Abroad Website, Newsletter, Towerlight or Alumni Magazine.

  • Help out at the Study Abroad Fair on campus.

  • Speak up in your classes about your time abroad - what you learned and how it relates to the topic being addressed in class.

  • Join the list of peer contacts so that students considering study abroad can contact you for advice.

  • Complete and return the Evaluation Form to serve as a resource in the Study Abroad Office Resource Library.

  • Donate to the Dr. Armin Mruck Scholarship to support CLA students who study abroad.

  • Donate to the Dr. Frank J. Sanders Study Abroad Scholarship to support study abroad in Latin America.

  • Create a scholarship to support your goals or interests in study abroad.

  • Contact us if you have more ideas to add to the list!
