Our Study Abroad Peer Advisors are current TU students who have already studied abroad and now work in the TU Study Abroad Office. They are eager to share stories about their time abroad and can provide first-hand advice and guidance before, during, and after your study abroad experience.
Ask a Peer Advisor
Study Abroad Peer Advisors can help you research programs, look up classes, and give you general tips about studying and living overseas. Send them an email at peeradvisor@towson.edu to ask a specific question or to make an appointment to meet with one of them. You don’t have to be interested in the country where the Peer Advisor studied in order to talk with them.
NOTE: Students who meet with a Peer Advisor are still required to attend an information session and meet with a Study Abroad Advisor.

" I am a senior majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies with a minor in American Studies. I am passionate about exploring other cultures’ ideas of 'normality', things that haven’t entered my realm of consciousness yet. With my life, I want to make a living seeing the world - preferably as a correspondent or producer of international news.”

"
I am a junior majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education with hopes of one day teaching in a Kindergarten classroom. I am a sister of Kappa Delta and have always had a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Studying abroad challenged me to not only step outside my comfort zone but to reach a higher level of self awareness and achievement that I never knew I was capable of. The experiences you will have abroad are ones that will change your life forever."
