“I am a senior double majoring in History and Biology and minoring in Spanish. As a student of both history and Spanish, I jumped at the chance to study in a country with a diverse population, including many Spanish speakers, and a rich history like Trinidad. The history courses I took there on India and Africa were absolutely fascinating. Waking up to palm trees and mountains was a definite bonus, too. I loved my time abroad and I hope to go back someday soon."
Kristen Forti Semester at Sea
“I am a junior majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geography. Living on a ship for 108 days, traveling the world was the most eye opening experience of my life. Using different countries and the ocean to reinforce what I learned in my classes made me gain valuable knowledge. On sea, I’ll never forget whale watching at lunch, crossing the Atlantic Ocean for 14 days, and passing over the equator. On land, I’ll never forget the friendships, culture shock, and the ability to say “hi” in 14 languages. Even if your study abroad experience is only for a week, it’s life changing!"
"A Comparison of the US & Argentina: A Psychological Perspective"
Faculty-Led Program: Argentina
"I am a Junior currently majoring in Psychology. Last summer I had the experience of a lifetime when I visited Buenos Aires with Dr. David Earnest. Prior to studying abroad, my experience outside of the US was quite limited. Suddenly I decided that it was time to explore and get outside of my comfort zone. I couldn't be more thankful for my decision. Exploring a culture completely different from your own is life-changing! I'll never forget the friends that I made and the experiences that had. In fact, I loved it so much that I am going to Italy with Dr. Earnest this summer!"
Matthew Lenz IFSA-Butler, City University
“I am a senior double majoring in Marketing and E-Business. I studied in London, England. I love traveling, ever since I was younger, so this was an amazing opportunity for me. It was an amazing experience, being able to learn in a new environment. I was able to travel around the UK and Europe. I highly recommend studying abroad!"
