Study Abroad

TU Programs

Towson University is proud to offer students the opportunity to study in many countries around the world while earning academic credit toward their degrees. Credits earned on these programs will transfer back to your Towson transcript and count towards your degree. Federal financial aid, TU and other study abroad scholarships can be used to pay for these programs.

Affiliate Programs

If after researching TU study abroad and TU affiliate program options you cannot find a program that fits your academic needs, you may submit a petition form (PDF) to participate on a program not sponsored by or affiliated with TU. Please note petitions must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the relevant program application deadline. You will be informed of the outcome of the petition within two weeks.

Internships Abroad

Completing an internship abroad will enhance your resume as you gain skills in a real-world workplace. You will live abroad as a local and make friends and connections that you can call upon throughout your professional career while earning credit towards your degree.

Service-learning Abroad

Expand your perspective by gaining real world intercultural experience while helping communities in need and earning academic credit! You will live abroad as a local and make friends and connections that you can call upon throughout your professional career while earning credit towards your degree.
