TU Summer Internship Program - Dublin, Ireland

Get professional experience and earn academic credit in Dublin, Ireland. The program consists of a 1-week orientation followed by a 6-week full-time internship placement. Students will be placed at organizations or businesses in Dublin by TU's partner internship company - EUSA. Program staff on-site in Dublin will contact and arrange the internship placement based on the student's preferences. Individual placement interviews will be conducted by telephone approximately 3 months prior to the program start date. All internships are unpaid.

Dublin is the capital city of the Republic of Ireland and home to the youngest population in Europe. More than a third of all Irish residents live in or near Dublin, which explains the great restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities. It is an energetic, fun, and friendly city with a rich literary and cultural heritage - something for everyone.

Course: 3-6 credits (course and credits determined by TU academic department). TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.

Housing: Students will live in shared student apartments at Merville Residence or Shanowen Square. All the apartments are fully furnished and consist of three, four or five single bedrooms with a shared kitchen and living area and either en-suite or shared bathrooms. All bedrooms include linens, pillows, and duvets (comforters) but students will need to bring towels or purchase them in the nearby shopping mall upon arrival. Kitchens will be fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and a microwave. The common area has a TV access point, but students must rent their own television if they wish. There is a laundromat on-site, and shops nearby for everyday essentials.

You may be sharing your apartment with other Towson students, students from other EUSA programs, or students from schools in Europe and further afield. In general, the apartments are co-ed, but every effort will be made to provide single sex accommodation if requested.
