Academic Information: 15-16 U.S. credits (60 UK credits) per semester / 6 U.S. credits (2 courses) for summer. Medical and dentistry classes are not available to study abroad students. Early application is recommended for students interested in taking classes in business, English, history, politics, or law. The University of Leeds is accredited by the UK Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and EQUIS.
TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.
Students studying at Leeds for a semester or year can choose from catered or self-catered university accommodation. There is also limited opportunity for home stay. University accommodation is guaranteed to all students who apply by the housing application deadline. Students participating in the summer program will stay in self-catered apartments at ‘The Plaza’student residence.
Program cost includes academic credit, fees, and health insurance. Students will be billed by Towson University. Additional costs include airfare, housing, meals, visa fees, personal expenses, and a $300 study abroad fee. Students pay the host institution directly for housing.
