TU Study Abroad Update

Graduation

Follow the checklist below and call the Graduation Office at 410-704-2095 if you have additional questions.

• If you have not already applied for graduation, contact the Graduation Office immediately. Applications are available on the Towson University website at http://onestop.towson.edu/graduation/.

• If you will be graduating within one year of your study abroad experience, you must email an official verification of your enrollment abroad (course titles and equivalent U.S. credit hours) to Cecilia Deems in the TU Registrar’s Office once your schedule is finalized.

• Ask your host institution program to release your transcript as soon as possible upon completion of your studies overseas and have it sent to the TU Study Abroad Office. If your overseas transcript(s) will be arriving more than 6 weeks after the graduation date for which you applied, you may need to defer your graduation until the following semester.

• Failure to follow these procedures may result in delay of graduation.
