University support for personal devices is limited to providing configuration information only; your provider is responsible for all other support. The OTS mobile support page provides a detailed description of our comprehensive support we provide for university-owned devices.
Configuring Towson Email
When configuring email settings on smartphones and tablets, the Exchange option will always be used. This allows the synchronization of Outlook email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks.
Generally the information below can be used to configure Exchange email on most devices. Once you configure your device to download university email, you will be forced to put in a passcode that automatically locks your device, regardless of whether it is your personally-owned device.

Smartphone models and operating systems change frequently, and these illustrations may not exactly match your particular model; the configuration settings, however, will still be applicable. These instructions are provided to help you or your cellular service provider to set up your personally-owned device to send and receive Towson University email.
