Blackboard is Towson's method of delivering Fully Online, Hybrid and Web Supported Classes. Instructors can use a few or as many of the tools available within the Blackboard environment as needed.

Blackboard Sites

Blackboard consists of course sites and community sites. Course sites are associated with credited courses and are automatically generated from PeopleSoft. Community sites are created via request from a department, organization or group.

Be sure to review the Blackboard Procedures and Guidelines (PDF).

Blackboard 24/7

This Blackboard support service offers technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - including holidays.

For definitions of support levels based on issue types, and to see the process for resolution refer to the Blackboard Support Flowchart (PDF).
