STUDENT SUPPORT

ADVISING
All first-year majors are advised by Mr. Peter Wray and/or Ms. Susan Rotkovitz during their first semester as theatre majors. Meetings for new majors are held at the beginning of each semester. These meetings are designed to orient new majors to the Department and its policies. Thereafter, each new major will see Mr. Wray or Ms. Rotkovitz individually on a regular basis throughout his/her first semester. After the first semester as a major, each student will be assigned to a permanent advisor in his/her area of study.

All theatre minors are advised by Ms. Peggy Penniman. Theatre majors are required to schedule conferences with their advisors at least once a semester prior to the Department’s Special Permit Day. The purpose of advising conferences is to discuss and plan the student's academic program both in the Department and in the University. Students should make additional appointments as needed.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES
Each year the student body elects two students to act at the student representatives to the faculty. These students serve as a liason between the faculty and the students, reporting problems and receiving feedback from both ends. All students are encouraged to contact their student representatives with any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the department of theatre arts. This years representatives are:YET TO BE DETERMINED
