ACTING TRACK (18 units)
The Acting Track is for students who are seeking rigorous
preparation for
graduate study or for entry-level opportunities in the
acting profession.
Although a competitive audition is not required for admission,
screening
occurs within the first two years of the program. Students
may be asked to
repeat courses or to take acting electivecourses beforeadvancing
to the next
level. A minimum of 15 units is required to complete the
track. Most stu-
dents elect to take more than the minimum.

DESIGN AND PRODUCTION TRACK (18 units)
The Design and Production Track also prepares students
for graduate study and/or entry into the theatreprofessions.
Faculty mentors guide qualified
students through design and production projects of increasing
responsibil-
ity, culminating in mainstage designs and leadership production
positions
for the most advanced students. The Design and Production
Track has an
excellent record of internship and career placements.
