Andrea is a multi-disciplinary artist and holds a BFA in Architecture from Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (I.U.A.V.), Venice, Italy, where she also attended a two-year training program for actors at “VeneziaINscena” school and participated in a number of projects as performer and coauthor. She worked with a leading architectural studio in Croatia, Randic-Turato Architects, and continued to participate in theatre projects in Rijeka, Croatia. Her area of interest and work expands on visual arts as well. In her work she explores possible ways of interaction between various artistic forms and is dealing with how the human condition and behaviour is influenced by the modern society and global processes. David Gregory, a native of Spain, is an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and director exploring cross-cultural pollination through performance. David danced and taught flamenco in Spain. He has directed/choreographed for Toby’s, Spotlighters, Fells Point Corner Theatre, and Coñejo Productions and has performed in most theatres in Baltimore. David was recognized in Broadwayworld.com for “Best Choreography” and as a “Top Theatre Movers/Shakers of Baltimore” for 2007. He’s appeared onstage with MadShag Performance Group based in New York. David works as a Senior Account Director at an advertising agency and is a Board Member of Winters Lane Productions. He holds an MA in Arts Administration from Goucher College.

Cat Hagner joins the program after serving as Production Stage Manager for Triad Stage in Greensboro, North Carolina for five seasons and American Stage in St. Petersburg, Florida, for four seasons. Ms. Hagner received a BA in Theatre and English from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and completed an apprenticeship in Directing/Dramaturgy at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

Sarah holds a BA in History from the College of Wooster where she studied the use of theatre as a transformative agent during the Chicano Movement. She is interested in theatre as a source of empowerment for at-risk youth; she has taught classes based on this idea in L.A., Gainesville, FL and Tacoma, WA. Interested also in physical based theatre, Sarah most recently completed an internship with Double Edge Theatre in Ashfield, MA where she trained daily with company members in their unique form of physical training.

Shannon received her BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University in 2009. In addition to performances at WMU, she has performed at Theatre Kalamazoo, Whole Art Theatre in Kalamazoo, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, and Heritage Theatre in Grand Rapids. In a WMU production of Dr. Faustus, Shannon pioneered the use of motion capture technology in live theatre. Shannon’s fine art has been featured in collections in West Michigan and, as a volunteer with the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, she worked to promote community interest in all forms of artistic expression. Her interests include performance art, movement, and incorporating technology in theatrical production.

Caroline Reck is a graduate of the Lecoq School of Physical Theatre in Paris, France. She served as Artistic Director and host of “Cabaret Le Cochard,” a musical revue on a barge on the River Seine in Paris. An actor/ director and frequent collaborator on devised work, her background is in mime, object theatre and puppetry. Her international collaborators include the Paris-based Sous Un Otre Angle, Mangiare Theatre Company in Sligo, Ireland and RedStarDogFish in Sydney, Australia. Since returning to the States in 2006, her New York productions include Nutmeat, a Burlesque Fairytale (NYC Fringe) and several productions for Red Fern Theatre at the 78th Street Theatre Lab.

Joseph W.Ritsch holds a BA in Theater & Dance from The School of Performing Arts at The University of Maine, and did initial his graduate studies in acting at the Professional Program at Playwright's Horizons in NYC. In 1994, Joseph became a principal ensemble member with Jane Comfort and Company. Joseph is currently an ensemble member of Gas & Electric Arts, Philadelphia's cutting edge physical theater company dedicated to creating theatrical work that is unconventional and thought provoking. He is also the creator/executor of Sunrize Highway, a loving spoof of the grand dames of the Great White Way.

Katie Robinson holds a B.A. in Cultural Politics from the University of Redlands. She is the Director of Advocacy at Social Solutions. Kate specializes in applying creative techniques to the advocacy efforts of disenfranchised individuals and the organizations that support them both internationally and domestically. She co-founded Catapult, an improvisational theatre troupe exploring class issues in Baltimore. As an advocate, a writer, and a movement-based performer Kate explores the powerful impact of creative expression on health and efficacy.

Donna Sellinger is a founding member of The Missoula Oblongata, a DIY theatre company that tours original work around the country, primarily to non-traditional theatre spaces. She is also a member of the Wham City collective, whom she directed in a much-fussed-over theatrical adaptation of Jurassic Park. She has won some things, such as second place in the Baltimore City Paper's Short Fiction Contest, and the 2005 Fotis Award for Best Script at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. She cares deeply about ephemera, dressing appropriately, and the American fetishization of "cool".

Julia M. Smith is a collaborative theater artist and educator and holds a BFA from New York University’s Experimental Theatre Wing. From 2005-2008 she was a Senior Artistic Associate for Theatre Action Project and she remains a company member of The Austin Project and Refraction Arts Project based in Austin, TX. Her work throughout Chicago, New York and Austin has been recognized by the Austin Critic Table Awards, B. Iden Payne Committee, The Austin Chronicle and The New York Times.

Susan comes to Towson from years of theatrical adventure and exploration. She received her BA in English/Creative Writing and Theatre from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and has since worked in many places around the country, making theater with various people in various ways. Her main interests lie in acting, writing, and ensemble work, particularly with underserved communities. Her favorite projects have been with the North Fourth Art Center in Albuquerque, creating theater with adults with developmental disabilities with Equilibrium Theater Company www.vsartsnm.org, and most recently with Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre www.puppets.org, touring the country as a puppeteer.

Shobha Subramanian is a trained Indian Classical dancer, teacher, choreographer and singer. Awards in India and in the US include Maryland State’s Individual Artist Award (three times). Under her leadership, Jayamangala dancers have performed across the DC metro area (like Kennedy center, Smithsonian) and the east coast. In March 2007 she organized a Dance Conference in Maryland where leading artistes made academic presentations. Subramanian has collaborated with artists across genres, produced a documentary film “Rhythmic Expressions” in 2001 and recently received the Maryland Traditions Award 2008.
