Essential Elements of Electronic Portfolios:  A basic definition of electronic teaching portfolios as well as tips for designing and using them effectively.

Developing a Distance Education Policy for the 21st Century:  This site, published by the American Council on Education, gives detailed information on creating an effective distance education policy.

Distance Education Clearinghouse:   The Distance Education Clearinghouse is a comprehensive and widely recognized Web site bringing together distance education information from Wisconsin, national, and international sources. New information and resources are being added to the Distance Education Clearinghouse on a continual basis.

USDLA:  The United States Distance Learning Association provides support and information to every educator or trainer interested in implementing effective distance learning practices.
