Saturday Morning Science
The Saturday Morning Science series is targeted for young students in grades 2-8 and is designed to generate more enthusiasm and excitement for math and science showcases the fun side of these disciplines. This series consists of different programs held approximately twice a month that presented fun, interesting, interactive and engaging topics designed to help change the mindset that “science is hard” into one that “science is fun!” This series featured presentations, performances and demonstrations designed to excite the mind and spark the imagination of young and old. The programs are held on the Towson University campus in Smith Hall room 326. All programs are free and no registration is required. Programs run 1-1.5 hours and parents are expected to attend along with their children. Programs run from 10:00 am - 11:30 am and then repeat from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.
