Five New Shows Highlight Fall 2006 Season

WMJF-TV is proud to announce it's new shows for the fall 2006 season:

• At the Movies

  • Who better to give college students an opinion on the latest films, then college students themselves? Join the At the Movies team as they review the newest movies in the theaters and the latest DVDs to be released for your viewing pleasure. 

• Breakin the Surface

  • Hip Hop for the eyes is the best way to describe one of WMJF-TV's newest hits. The Breakin the Surface crew bring you the latest and greatest from the local hip hop scene, including previews, reviews, and interviews with the artists.

• The College Gourmet

  • Being a college student is tough enough, but trying to eat on a budget is practically impossible. The chefs at College Gourmet will show you some simple recipes that won't break the bank, but still impress your family.

• Film School

  • Film School, WMJF's first continuous narrative show (sitcom), is based around the life of film student, Will Shaker, a guy with an over active imagination and more insecurities than Freud could deal with. Along with his friend Akeem, and love interest, Jack, he attempts to navigate the Towson University film program with the terror of a professor, Professor Wood.

  • Video games have been a staple of American culture for over 20 years. Who better to talk about video games then the generation that grew up with them? Press Start takes a look at the newest in video gaming technology.
