Womens Resources program

TU Love Is...

TU “Love Is” promotes healthy relationships and educate our community about dating violence. It is a partnership between Towson’s Women’s Resources Program and the Dowell Health Center. It is made possible with the generous support of the Avon Foundation for Women and its m.powerment by mark program.

Attention Faculty Members
As a part of the LoveIs…campaign, we will have trained peer educators who can come and talk to your classes! Let your students hear about the importance of Healthy Relationships from their peers. Educators will use interactive activities and discussion to teach students about the dynamics of unhealthy relationships and the essential components of a healthy relationship. They will also learn how to help a friend who they suspect is in an unhealthy or abusive relationship. Finally, students will learn about the incidence and prevalence of dating violence on a college campus and what they can do to prevent it.
