Womens Resources program

Core Services

The Women's Resources Program in the Center for Student Diversity offers a wide variety of campus programming each year on topics relevant to women's and gender issues.  In addition to that programming, some of our core services include:

One-on-One Mentoring: Students come by to seek advice on relationships, wellness, academic progress, and career goals.

Women’s Leadership Program: An intensive year-long mentoring and leadership training program. Its goal is to help women succeed in careers after graduation and empower other women. Program participants receive financial support through the Women’s Resources Award.  Find out more about this program on our Scholarship Information page.

Student Group Advising: Check out the current Student Groups page. Don't see a group that you would like to be a part of? Start your own!

Support for Mature Aged Students: As a part of the Newcombe Scholarship Program, there are a variety of resources available to students 25 and older, including a monthly lunch and peer support group on the 2nd Monday of each month (during the academic year).  For upcoming lunch dates, check out our Upcoming Programs page. For more information on the Newcombe Scholarship, visit our Scholarship Information page.

Women in Leadership Conference: Each April, WRP partners with various departments and academic colleges to host a day-long conference focusing on women, leadership, and career development. Conference presenters are alumnae, faculty, staff, and local businesswomen.  Information on the upcoming conference can be found here.

Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Resources: The Women's Resources Program is a part of a campus-wide team of professionals and departments.  Find out more information on resources and campus policies and procedures here.
