Call the
Writing Center at 410-704-3426 or stop by the Liberal Arts Builidng Room 5330.
It is best to make an appointment in order to guarantee that someone will be available to meet with you. Usually, it is fine to call the day before the appointment you want. At busy times (around midterms and the end of the term), consider calling two to three days ahead of time. We take drop-in appointments if someone is available.
What to
Expect
Writing Center appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on the length of your paper. Come prepared to talk about your writing assignment and participate in the session. Writing Assistants will read through your paper with you and provide reader-based feedback on everything from idea development and audience analysis to organization and grammar.
What to
Bring
Two hard copies of your
paper
Assignment sheet/guidelines
