How the Program Works
To make the program as convenient as
possible, the student may complete most of the work on a given skill at
home, using modules, the program's main instructional materials.
The student completes assigned modules online (www.towson.edu/ows). Each module, which
takes about an hour to complete, contains carefully-paced, example-filled text
and exercises with an answer key and a post-test at the end. The student
completes the exercises online and then prints out the post-test and completes
it on paper.
The student then calls the Writing Support Program Director, at 410-704-2857, to
schedule an appointment.
At the appointment, the student asks any remaining questions, goes over the
post-test, and takes a final post-test.
The post-test results are sent to the student's instructor.
