How To Copy Files in Lab


To copy files to disks or multiple disks in our lab follow the instructions below.  DO NOT swap disks and save files- this corrupts your files and disks.
 
  1. Save file(s) to D:\files directory on the PC hard drive.

    2.  
  2. Go to the File | Save As... pull-down menu.

    3.  
  3. In the "Save As..."  window, right-click the file and select copy from the menu.  

    4.  
  4. In the "Save As..."  window, go to the drive you want to copy the file to and right-click the drive or directory.
  6. Select "Paste" ( the file will be copied).
