The Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute at Towson University was created to challenge the status quo of leadership development, to forge a new standard for innovative practice and pedagogy, and to prepare the leaders of the future.

The Institute builds on Towson University’s ongoing commitment to community and business engagement while serving as a key regional asset—uniquely supporting leadership recruitment, development and retention to allow our state and region to thrive.

Designed by leaders for leaders  

Building a transformational institute requires a collaborative, intensive and strategic approach. To deliver on challenging the status quo, we engaged 125 CEOs, senior leaders and leadership experts from 75+ regional organizations in a comprehensive engagement process. Stakeholder engagement is a key tenant of the Institute and will guide the ongoing development of programming.
