“TU Matters to Maryland” is a comprehensive communication strategy that articulates what makes TU distinct and valuable to the state of Maryland in 2018 and beyond.
“TU Matters to Maryland” is one of eight presidential priorities that are linked to and aligned with Towson University’s strategic plan. These eight priorities will help us build a stronger foundation for Towson University’s promising future.
Developing a comprehensive communication strategy to tell the contemporary Towson University story is one of President Schatzel’s top initiatives. To accomplish this, the university is completing an Identity Audit process, which uses extensive research and brand strategy to define what makes TU distinct.
Ultimately, this process will guide all creative expression and storytelling in a way that authentically resonates with prospective students, parents, current students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and influencers. As of January 1, 2020, TU’s Identity Audit has been completed.
