Congratulations on your admission to Towson University graduate studies!

Below you will find important information about the next steps to officially begin your journey as a TU graduate student. International graduate students should click here.

  1. Submit Your Enrollment Contract and Deposit (if required)
    In order to accept admission and register for classes, students are required to submit their online enrollment contract and nonrefundable $200 deposit (if required) by the date stated on their decision letter. The submission of your contract and nonrefundable deposit will secure your spot in your program and allow you to register for classes. Your $200 deposit will be applied to your first bill.

    This process does not apply to international students or students participating in Towson Learning Network (TLN) programs. Physician Assistant Studies, Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology have program-specific contracts and deposit amounts unique to the program which will be mailed separately from the University's offer of admission. Those program-specific contracts and deposit amounts will be in place of, not in addition to, the University graduate enrollment contract and deposit (if required).

  2. Activate Your Towson University Online Services Account (NetID)
    When you activate your NetID, you will establish your Towson online identity and email address. You will need your seven digit TU ID number which you can find on your Offer of Admission letter or the last 4 digits of your social security number (if you provided it on your application). Your Towson University account will be used to send and receive email, access online course material, register for courses, or retrieve grades.

  3. Contact Your Program Director for Advising and Register for Classes
    Some graduate programs require students to meet with their adviser or program director prior to registration. Please check your Towson University Online Services Account for registration dates. If there is an advising hold on your account, please contact your program director.  
  4. Complete Items on Your Graduate Student To-Do List 
    After you've accepted our offer of admission, you should visit the Graduate Student To-Do List  and complete all required tasks. You'll find important information to help your transition to graduate studies at TU, including details about parking on campus, getting your OneCard ID, required immunizations and more.

  5. Register for New Graduate Student Orientation
    If you have enrolled as a new TU graduate student, you are encouraged to attend New Graduate Student Orientation. The Graduate Student Association hosts this orientation for new graduate students to help make your transition to Towson U an easy one.
