Admitted Transfers

Congratulations on your admission to Towson University! These are the steps to accept your offer of admission and complete your enrollment to TU’s main campus or the TU in Northeastern Maryland campus. Log in to the TU Admissions Portal to get started.

1

Submit your enrollment deposit.

To officially accept our offer of admission, please submit the $200 nonrefundable enrollment deposit and your deposit form in your TU Admissions Portal. The deposit will secure your spot in the incoming class and will be applied to your tuition bill.

2

Activate your TU Net ID and email account.

Activate your email/NetID account to receive important notifications about your enrollment such as information about your financial aid package or missing documents.

If you have technical issues, contact Student Computing Services at or 410-704-5151.

3

Submit your final official college transcript.

Please request your current college or university to send your official transcript via electronic services (Parchment, Clearinghouse, etc.) or by postal mail to University Admissions once final grades are posted.

4

Review your evaluation of transfer credit.

Please allow 10 business days after your transcript is sent to Towson University for us to complete your evaluation. You can review your evaluation on your Student Dashboard (login).

5

Explore housing options in Towson.

On-campus housing is limited. You can explore our off-campus housing options if you wish to commute. TU in Northeastern Maryland is a commuter campus only.

View information about requesting housing on TU’s main campus. If you are offered on-campus housing, you must sign a housing contract and submit a $350 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. Contact the Department of Housing and Residence Life at 410-704-2516 with questions.

6

Apply for financial aid.

The 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. Complete your FAFSA by March 1.

If you have questions or have already filed a FAFSA, but did not receive your award notification, contact Financial Aid at 410-704-4236.
