Shelby joined the Division of Innovation and Applied Research in August 2017 as the membership coordinator at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Her duties include reporting and analyzing fundraising goals and membership trends, managing the membership database, and working closely with staff and volunteers to execute events, marketing materials, and member communications.
Prior to joining Towson University, Shelby worked at a health care law firm in Towson as a reimbursement analyst, specifically working with denied Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance health claims for hospitals.
Shelby holds a B.S. in gerontology with a minor in healthcare management from Towson University. She is currently earning a M.S. in health science with a concentration in health administration.
Shelby lives in Towson with her husband, Jack, and her three fur-babies: Captain, Dakota, and Fitz. She also loves to sing, watch the latest Disney movies, and try new cooking recipes.
