Tranae acts as the lead researcher and analyst for a contract with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Child Care. In her role, she extracts and analyzes data from various federal, state, and local sources using analytical tools and Excel. She also aids in the planning of the annual MSDE Early Child Care and Education Forum as well as the state’s semi-annual Early Childhood Research Advisory Group.
Most recently, Tranae helped devise a more equally-distributed, tiered reimbursement payment scheme and estimated the additional cost of implementing said scheme for the MSDE Office of Child Care.
Tranae holds a B.S. in economics from University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a M.S. in social science at Towson University.
