Brian has worked for Towson University since 2010. From 2007-2010 Brian was a systems specialist with the Center for GIS (CGIS). In his current role, he manages the hosting infrastructure for the Division including Microsoft Active Directory domains, VMware virtual environment, and SAN storage.
Brian has worked extensively on the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) eMipp application; migrated servers and applications to Windows 2012 R2 for State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT); and created an additional server environment for Maryland Department of Agriculture’s Inventory, Cover Crops, and Weights & Measures applications.
Brian holds an A.S. in computer science and an A.S. in mathematics from Harford Community College. He has CompTIA certifications for A+, Network+, and Security+. His Microsoft certifications include MCSA 2000, MCDST, MCSA 2003, MCITP:SA, MCSA 2008, MCITP:EA, MCSA 2012, and MCSE:SI. He is also certified as VMware VCP5-DV and Cisco CCENT, and CCNA:RS.
