Our Medical Billing course gives you the skills needed to be competitive in the healthcare field. Learn diagnostic coding, procedural coding, Medicare, HIPAA and bill collection strategies.
Course format: This live, instructor-led course meets online via Zoom on a set schedule with a cohort of students.

- September 6–November 22, Saturday, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Certification exam: Upon completion, you will be prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Billing Specialist or Certified Professional Biller exams.
Medical Coding Course
Our Certified Professional Medical Coding Course will prepare you for a rewarding career in the medical field. Learn the application of CPT® procedure codes, HCPCS Level II supply codes, and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes—all of which medical providers use to submit claims to payers.
Course format: This live, instructor-led course meets online via Zoom on a set schedule with a cohort of students.

- January 27–May 7, 2026, Tuesday & Thursday, 6–9 p.m.
Certification exam: Upon completion, you will be prepared to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) exam.

Corella Lumpkins is an industry subject matter expert with over 36 years of extensive experience working in every area of the healthcare revenue cycle, on both the provider and payer side. She has been an approved AAPC instructor since 2008.
Meet the medical coding instructor
Adrienne Blackstone is a results-driven professional with 20+ years of experience in healthcare administration. She is skilled in medical coding education and developing and implementing medical billing processes in private and academic practices.
We offer a Medical Billing Course and a Medical Coding Course. Both are taught live, online via Zoom by experienced healthcare professionals.
