TU Incubator supports local, regional, and national member companies with the resources, support, and networks needed to succeed.
As a university-integrated business incubator, TU Incubator uniquely supports startups as well as TU students, faculty, and staff. We promote venture creation and small business growth to stimulate economic development and to further the respective missions of Towson University and Baltimore County.
Founded in 2007, TU Incubator has supported over 75 companies and produced greater than $150 million in economic impact. Today, TU Incubator is focused on technology enabled services, particularly those that focus on university core competencies, such as education and healthcare.
Baltimore County is Maryland′s second-largest job center and a prime location to start a business. TU Incubator encourages engagement and collaboration to augment the resources needed to establish a strong business foundation. We work closely with community partners, service providers, and experienced professionals to help ventures succeed. Support from Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development provides value to TU Incubator and member companies.
Iteration is TU Incubator's main communication that provides relevant news, events, and stories.
EdTech (education technology) is the platforms, tools, and digital initiatives used to improve learning and administrative outcomes and efficiencies, including end users in early childhood, K-12, postsecondary, special, corporate, and workforce education.
