Nick joined the Regional Economic Studies Institute in October 2017. As a research associate, Nick is responsible for developing methodologies and undertaking research projects for both Towson University and external clients. His current projects include working with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Division of Early Childhood Development, providing expense forecasting for the Child Care Subsidy Branch, and analyzing of CCDF Policy Changes
Previously, Nick served as an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, conducting analysis and industry research for the Producer Price Index Program.
Nick holds an M.S. in economics from Tufts University and a B.S. in economics from Illinois State University.
Nick’s primary interests involve cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
