Biography

Paul joined the Division of Strategic Partnerships & Applied Research in 2019. He serves as community and program coordinator for the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU), the longest-running and largest organization committed to serving and connecting the world’s urban and metropolitan universities and their partners, which is headquartered at Towson University. In this role, Paul works to connect and support CUMU members to help address their unique needs and challenges. Paul serves as the key contact for the CUMU-TDC Anchor Learning Network, provides support for the CUMU annual conference, and serves as managing editor of Metropolitan Universities journal.

Previously, Paul served as dean of residential life at Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth’s summer program and was an economic development fellow at the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee.

Education

Paul holds a M.S. in urban studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and B.A. in economics and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Personal

In his free time, Paul enjoys being outside exploring different neighborhoods and parks and spending time with friends and family.
