ATHENAPowerLink® Baltimore is a yearlong mentorship program designed to assist women entrepreneurs with their business.
ATHENAPowerLink® Baltimore guides women business owners in defining and achieving tangible goals by providing them with access to a panel of business advisors. Each advisory panel is hand-selected based upon each woman business owner’s individual needs. These volunteer panelists serve as mentors and advisors for a 12-month period at no charge to the woman business owner and, ultimately, strive to help the woman business owner achieve growth and profitability.
Learn about challenges and resources available for women entrepreneurs from General Linda Singh, Lindsay Ryan, USM venture development director; and Tamera Rush, founder and CEO of Tenax Technologies and participant in ATHENAPowerLink® Baltimore.
ATHENAPowerLink® Baltimore is headquartered at Towson University and is offered through a community partnership spearheaded by PNC Bank and local business leaders.
The yearlong program is open to any woman whose business:
When it opens in summer 2021, the StarTUp at the Armory will serve as TU's front door for start-ups, small businesses, as well as our region's largest corporations. This vibrant public space will catalyze entrepreneurs and executives and connect them to each other and to TU's programs and people.
TU’s cohort-based program was designed by business, community, and educational leaders, and provides hands-on practical learning and coaching in a supportive environment. The program attracts women from across industry, government, and nonprofit sectors serving in a wide array of capacities.
