Expand your professional reach through networking, service, internships, training and events (NSITE).
Check the events calendar regularly for Career NSITE opportunities.
Because who you know can be just as, if not more, important than what you know, CBE offers multiple opportunities for students to network with employers and other professionals at events like the semi-annual CBE Career Fair and annual Accounting Open House.
Giving back to the community is a rewarding part of growing as a professional. CBE plans a day of service each fall at various regional nonprofits to give students a chance to volunteer as a group.
CBE hosts Employer of the Day throughout the months of September and October, when representatives from companies set up an information table in Stephens Hall. We also host on-campus recruiting. Look for emails and announcements about opportunities to interview with companies here on campus.
Each semester, CBE hosts one to two workshops to help students prepare academically and professionally. Examples of training events include workshops in time management, setting up a dynamic LinkedIn profile and resume writing.
CBE brings the experts to you for panel discussions about interesting and relevant topics for business students ranging from social media etiquette to women in business. These fun events are not only informative and engaging, but are great opportunities to network as well.
