Candidates & Teams

Eight graduating seniors are selected through a rigorous application process to compete in the Associate competition. The students are divided into two teams. Each week, one team is named the winner, and a candidate from the losing team is "NOT HIRED" and eliminated from the competition. Here are the 2017 candidates.

Tekla Alleyne

Tekla Alleyne (NOT HIRED)

Tekla is an accounting major who also has a passion for computer science and information technology. He plans to pursue his graduate degree in the subject. He also has a goal to open his own accounting practice one day.



Jully Antunes

Jullyene Antunes

Jullyene is studying business administration with a concentration in marketing. She recently flexed her marketing skills worked as a sales intern at Network Media Partners in Hunt Valley last semester. She is captain of the TU Cheerleading squad and an officer in the TU chapter of the American Marketing Association.

As the first-place winner of the 2016 CBE Sales Competition, Lillian is no stranger to competition at TU. She's also an accomplished athlete. A business administration major concentrating in marketing, Lillian interned as a promotion coordinator at J & L Marketing this past fall. 



Samantha jonjo

Samantha Jonjo (NOT HIRED)

As a business administration major with a concentration in legal studies, Samantha has studied business, cyber, real estate and elder law in the classroom. As a resident assistant, she lays down the law while also planning programs and mentoring 47 residents. Samantha has also worked as an intern at Worthington Financial Partners in Timonium and is a leader in Alpha Kappa Psi.



Allison Kahl

Allison Kahl (NOT HIRED)

Allison is returning to campus this spring semester after spending one-month studying international business in Barcelona, Spain. While aiming for her major in business administration with concentrations in management and leadership as well as human resources, she's racked up professional experience working in various positions in field support, recruiting and human resources.



Andrew Rowe

Andrew Rowe (NOT HIRED)

Andrew is a business administration major with a concentration in leadership and management. In addition to working part-time as an accounts payable coordinator at Intra-Cellular Therapies, Andrew volunteers to teach courses in technology for developmentally disabled adults at the Arc of Baltimore.



Mercele Viana

Marcele Viana (NOT HIRED)

Marcele Viana helped lead her team to win first place in the 2016 Fall Case Competition. A non-traditional student, Marcele sees her extensive professional experience—including her position as an executive assistant/general manager for Compu-Power, where she helped oversee a marketing rebrand—as a differentiator in the competition.



Repheal Yousefi

Rephael Yousefi (NOT HIRED)

Rephael was a star student at Harford Community College, earning membership in the Phi That Kappa Honor Society, interning for Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-06) and giving the commencement speech at his graduation ceremony. He continues his track record at TU studying business administration with a concentration in marketing and currently works as an executive assistant at Carefree Indsutries.
