How the Competition Works

Teams have five weeks to compile solutions to real world business cases provided by professional organizations and present to a panel of regional business leaders. Winning teams will receive recognition including certificates, padfolios and recognition in university media.

  • Case provided four weeks in advance
  • Choose from two Tracks: Supply Chain Management and Marketing Intelligence

Rules

  1. Only Towson University students are eligible to participate on teams. Teams should have 2-4 members. Fill out this online form to sign up.
  2. At least one member of the team must have a major within CBE (accounting, business administration, business systems and processes and/or economics).
  3. Teams must have a minimum of three members and no more than four.
  4. The competition is limited to 5 teams per track (10 teams total).
  5. Teams will receive the case via email a few weeks prior to the competition.
  6. All teams must arrive on time on the morning of the competition in order to participate.
  7. Teams will be randomly assigned presentation time slots on the morning of the competition.
  8. Presentations for case solutions will be limited to 20 minutes per team. There will be an additional five minutes for questions from the judges. Presentations may NOT contain more than 10 PowerPoint/Prezi slides.
