Physical Education Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification

Physical education teachers play an important role in improving student health and attitudes about physical activity and exercise.

This program is targeted to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are interested in obtaining certification as a PreK-12 physical education teacher. Based on the sequencing of courses, it will take approximately four to five terms as a full-time student to complete the program. The majority of course work can only be completed during the typical school day rather than in night classes. Learn more about the Program of Study (PDF).

Our faculty bring years of teaching experience to the classroom. Your professors will provide direct supervision and guidance.
