The Towson University Occupational Therapy MS Program offers an Early Admission option
for qualified applicants. Up to 25% of the entering class may be admitted through
early admission, which guarantees those admitted a position in the program. The selection
process for early admission is based on a full review of all admission materials.
Any applicant not admitted early will automatically be included in the pool for regular
Early Admission Eligibility Requirements
Early admissions applicants must meet all regular admission requirements detailed
on the Admission Requirements & Deadlines page. You must also meet the following additional
requirements to be eligible for early admission consideration:
- 60+ Last-60-Credit GPA: You must have a minimum GPA of 3.60 based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate
and graduate course work. Full detail about the last-60-credit GPA calculation is
available on the Admission Requirements & Deadlines page.
- All Prerequisites Complete: You must have all prerequisites complete with the required grades by the early admission
application deadline. Full prerequisite details, including required grades, are available
on the Admission Requirements & Deadlines page.
- Complete, Verified OTCAS Application by October 1: A complete application must be verified by OTCAS by October 1. It can take as many
as 4-6 weeks for OTCAS to verify transcripts; therefore, it will be necessary to submit
materials as early as possible.
- Request for Early Admission Consideration: You must submit a formal letter by October 1 via email or traditional mail indicating
the desire to be reviewed for early admission. If your letter is received after October
1, your application will not be reviewed early and will automatically be included
in the pool for regular admission.
