Paul Miers (Ph.D., Missouri) teaches British and American Prose, Writing for Business and Industry, and Honors College Writing. Among his publications are articles on Descartes, Jacques Derrida, cognitive theory, literary theory, symbolism, semiotics, and American film in publications such as Modern Languages Notes and Stanford Humanities Review. He has been managing editor of the MLA International Bibliography and development editor for Peterson's Guides.
