Courses

In addition to French, Chinese, German, Italian and Spanish for which we offer a major and/or minor, the Department of Foreign Languages offers courses in Arabic, Greek (Ancient), Hebrew (Biblical and Modern), Japanese, Latin, Portuguese, and Russian. However, we do not confer a major or minor in these languages.

We have a variety of major and minor programs. Many of our programs offer opportunities for Study Abroad. Besides our majors, student often combine a foreign languages minor with another area of specialization: International studies, business, computer science, art history, health sciences, education and more.
