Areas of Expertise

Kim Bunch stepped out of one school house door and right back into two others as she renewed her commitment to education after retiring from Baltimore County in 2007, as an Elementary School Principal. Having been a teacher in all elementary grade levels, Kim recognizes first- hand the challenges and rewards the profession offers. Sixteen years in administration also allows Kim to help new teachers prepare for working with the children, their parents, other teachers, and administrators in a school community. Kim received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education from Gettysburg College. After earning her MS degree in Administration/Supervision from Johns Hopkins, Kim continued to earn 30+ more credits. Believing that teaching is the best job ever, Kim is starting her 9th year as a Towson University Professional Development School liaison and faculty lecturer. In classrooms on campus and in elementary schools in Baltimore County, she welcomes & guides cohorts of seniors who share her dedication and graduate with an understanding that we must make a difference for kids’ sake and ours.
