All M.A.T. students receive evaluations of their internship performance from their university supervisor and mentors during the final EDUC 798 semester of their Professional Year. The M.A.T. program uses the Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC) Standards as part of the evaluation process for students in all education programs. In addition, general education students are also evaluated by the standards established by the appropriate professional organizations. Below are the links to the evaluation standards for students pursuing initial certification as general educators:
The evaluation standards for M.A.T. students who are pursuing their initial certification as special educators are based on the InTASC Standards and the standards identified by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
