Students minoring in mass communication must complete 24 units of MCOM courses with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher in each course, including MCOM 101 Introduction to Mass Communication (3 units), 6 units of 200-level courses, 3 units of upper- or lower-level courses and 12 units of upper-level courses. No specific courses or blocks of courses are stipulated for the minor; each student designs a coherent and purposeful individual program.
