Ashleigh Cicconi, M.Ed., MT-BC, graduated in 2011 from University of Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in music therapy. Studying and performing music for nearly 15 years, Ashleigh has performed in venues across the world on principal saxophone. As a virtuosic player, she also spent years mastering the clarinet and flute. Throughout her career, Ashleigh has maintained a private music lesson studio for saxophone, clarinet, flute, guitar, and piano instruction for students of all ages. Additionally, she served as a board-certified music therapist and internship supervisor for 3 years. In 2015, she received her Master’s degree in instruction and curriculum, specializing in early childhood education. Relocating to Maryland in 2015, she has worked the past 2 years at Garrison Forest School as the Lower Division music teacher, in addition to adjunct faculty at Towson University and Hussman Center for Autism.
