Lisa Woznicki is the Performing Arts Librarian at the Albert S. Cook Library at Towson University, serving as the Library Liaison to Dance, Music, and Theatre Arts departments. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Music in the History and Culture Division. Ms. Woznicki has undergraduate degrees in English literature and music from Towson University, as well as master’s degrees in library science, and music education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and Towson University, respectively. Ms. Woznicki has studied piano at the undergraduate and graduate levels with Dr. Lawrence Crawford and specialized in lecture/recitals as a presentation format. Her undergraduate and graduate research has focused on piano works composed by women. She is a member of the Music Library Association, the Theatre Library Association, the Congress on Research and Dance, the International Association of Women in Music, and the College Music Society. She has published articles in the Journal of Performing Arts Leadership in Higher Education, Journal of the IAWM: International Alliance for Women in Music, and most recently in Music Reference Quarterly.
