Theresa (Terri) Iacarino has taught elementary vocal music in Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) since August 2005. She holds two degrees from Towson University including a Bachelor of Science in Music Education (2005) and Master of Science in Music Education (2012). She also earned her Master of Education degree in School Leadership and Improvement with administrative certification from Goucher College in 2018. She has led various professional development sessions for the BCPS Office of Music and Dance, MMEA (Maryland Music Educators Association), and Towson University. Terri serves as a curriculum writer for Baltimore County Public Schools (elementary vocal/general music and American Music Grade 8) and summer workshop curriculum writer for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's Midweek Concert Series Teacher Guides. In 2018, Theresa Iacarino was awarded the Beacon Scholarship from The American Center for Elemental Music and Movement (ACEMM) for her incorporation of drum circles in music instruction. Currently, she teaches vocal music to students in grades K-5 at Joppa View Elementary School in Perry Hall, MD.
