SciTech Student Learning Lab

Located in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, SciTech is a field trip destination that engages students in grades 3 -12 in hands-on, inquiry-based science activities that stimulate thought and engage participants.

Program Details

With over fifteen different activities to choose from for elementary, middle, and high school students, educators are able to complement and enhance the science learning that is happening in the classroom by participating in a 3-hour, self-contained lab experince lead by our instructors. All of our laboratory activities are aligned with the Maryland State Science standards (based on the Next Generation Science Standards).  Each activity is based on real-world problems and issues, allowing students to engage in scientific and engineering practices while learning content in new and challenging ways.
