Please let the Training and Development unit know that you are working on completing a certificate or that you have completed a certificate by sending an email to hrtraining AT_TOWSON. Note that if you are pursuing multiple certificates, different electives must be chosen - they do not carry over. Core (required) courses will carry over for multiple certificates.
The Customer Service (PDF) and Essential Skills for Administrative Support Professionals (PDF) enhanced skills certificates allow employees to focus on specific skillsets
through TEC eLearning workshops. The certificates are entirely online and are designed
to be completed according to the participant's schedule.
Designed for faculty and staff responsible for business functions. With university
experts leading the discussions, these workshops are designed to increase your knowledge
and efficiency on the job, while answering common questions and creating an opportunity
for increased workplace communication. This certificate (PDF) is designed to be completed within one year.
Designed to develop support staff skills. It includes a blend of both instructor-led and eLearning workshops using Towson’s eLearning Center (TEC). This certificate (PDF) is designed so that it can be completed within a two-year timeframe.
