Women’s Faculty & Staff Association

The Women’s Faculty/Staff Association (WFSA) shares its mission with the University System of Maryland’s Women’s Forum (USMWF) which is to bring together the women of the University System of Maryland in order to enhance the status of women, to foster networking among women, and to encourage the participation of women in all facets of the System.

The group is open to every member of the campus community including: faculty members, staff, and students.

Goals of the WFSA include:

  • Create networking opportunities for members
  • Advocate for institutional policies, procedures and practices that meet the needs of female employees
  • Explore and expand on existing research and practices that impact women in the workplace.
  • The WFSA also exists as the campus liaison to the University System of Maryland’s Women’s Forum (USMWF). The USMWF brings together the women of the University System of Maryland in order to enhance the status of women, to foster networking among women, and to encourage the participation of women in all facets of the System.
