Towson University is a member of the University System of Maryland (USM). USM's Office of Institutional Research provides system-wide decision support through research, analysis and evaluation. The office collects data and disseminates reports on various aspects of enrollment management, budget and resource allocation, human resources and peer comparisons to both internal and external stakeholders.

Dashboard Indicators Report: These indicators were developed by the USM staff to monitor the progress of the University of Maryland System and its institutions.
Faculty Instructional Workload Reports: The University System of Maryland (USM) staff produces this annual report as a summary of the instructional workload, which includes teaching, research, and services activities, of the tenured and tenure-track faculty at USM's degree-granting institutions.
